We are planning our first trip to Paris (second honeymoon) and I was wondering if you can recommend any hotels in Paris. I’m looking for approx 3 star hotel, but since I’m not familiar with the city OF Paris I have no idea what to look for. I have two major requirements though:
1st – the hotel has to have A/C in the rooms
2nd – there has to be a parking available since we are traveling with the car from Holland.
The web sites are full with different hotels options, I’m so lost!!! I would like to book hotel based on recommendation from you guys, rather than just booking “something”.
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
P.S. the room has to have king size bed
That is very difficult to recommend an hotel in Paris(too many of them in the city) . But if you wants to stay in a nice area of the city, you could search for an hotel either on the left side of the Seine (in the Latin Quarter or Saint-Germain-des-Prés) or on the right side (close to the Opers Garnier or Bastille) .
. Right Side
Bastille: the Home Plazza Bastille
Garnier: Pavillon Louvre Rivoli / Villa Opéra Drouot
. Left Side
Latin Quarter: Pavillon Panthéon
Saint-Germain: Hotel Royal Saint-Germain
I hope these informations will be usefull for you.
Have a nice journey in Paris
You have two criteria that immediately eliminate most hotels -- air conditioning and king bed -- give me an idea of the price range you can handle and I'll try to help, since I lived in paris for 3 years...
But is money is no object -- go straight to the George V (Four Seasons).
