Interesting place to stay

The wife and I stayed here a few years ago and found it to be a O K place. We had a room by the elevator shaft that was pretty noisy and upstairs from the courtyard where a lot of noise came thru our window everytime someone dragged their wheeled luggage across the tiles. The desk was friendly and helpful, and we found it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go in Paris from there. There was daily a marvalous food maket in the street around the corner, with all kinds of food vendors. The room was small but liveable. I would stay there again. Very reasonable on the price.

Hi Jackie from Folsom, The distance from Gare du Nord is about 2.5 km (1.5 miles). With luggage you should probably take a taxi. They are lined up right in front of the train station. You can go to mappy.com, put in Gare du Nord and the hotel's address and get a map. You could also find the metro that is closest to your hotel (usually on the hotel's website) and take the metro from Gare du Nord. However, this will entail lugging your luggage up and down stairs or escalators. Have a great time. Karl

I am a bit confused as where you are staying as the address I get for the name you have mentionned is: 6 r Lebouteux 75017 Paris
If it is where you are staying, and depending on how much luggage you have (see last post), I would suggest to take the Metro line 2 from Gare du Nord towards Porte Dauphine and stop at Metro Villiers. The hotel is 200m from the metro station. You can have more information on www.ratp.fr regardings the metro as well as a map of where you are staying.
I hope this will help.
Enjy your stay in Paris.
