price
We booked a room at this hotel because we wanted to be near CDG airport and we didn’t want to loose time going to the city centre and back. 39euros for a triple room was a great offer anyway, I doubt if you can find a better price anywhere in Paris
Location
It’s located near the airport, just one train stop away from CDG(it took about 12’) which makes it perfect for those who have an early morning flight. It’s way too far if you plan to use it for your excursions to Paris though, you need 40’ to reach the city center (and you have to pay a lot of money for the extra zones at the metro).
BE CAREFUL that from Monday to Friday until 2012 RER station Parc des Expositions is closed after 23.00! The taxi ride to/from the airport is expensive (18-25euros) while the RER ticket costs only 3.75e. Have in mind that the train station was unstaffed, we had to use the ticket machines that DON’T accept bank notes so have some coins with you. One major problem is that there is no market, bar or restaurant at the area so have something with you before hand or go to the expensive restaurant of the Kyriad hotel.
The hotel
The reception is usually closed and we had to check in/out at the sister hotel (Kyriad hotel) which is attached next to it. It seemed to me that they both belong to the same owner but they use Premiere Classe Roissy for the budget rooms.
Breakfast
We didn’t pay for this so I don’t know much about it. It costs 5euro per person.
The room
Our room was a typical hostel room, very small and not much furniture, just the beds and a TV! Not much space to put your bags and no place to change your clothes, so you better know well each other :) There are some plastic hangers at the upper bunk bed where you can hang your clothes but this means they will be next to the person that lies at the bed under the bunk bed! The room seemed cleaned but the bed cover wasn’t the cleanest on earth…
The bathroom
This was the tiniest bathroom I ever seen, someone with extra kilos may have a problem move inside there! It was like a big plastic box, the tiny shower, the toilet and the washbasin in less than 1 square meter!
Directions: take RER train from CDG to Parc des Expositions, get out of the station and turn left, in less than 3’ you’ll see ALL SEASONS hotels and at the other side PREMIERE CLASSE hotel.
Please, if you value your sanity, do not stay at this hotel. I have only three requirements when choosing accommodation and they are safe, private en suite and clean. The hotel was probably safe. There was a private en suite. It was anything but clean. I'd read some mixed reviews on the internet before we went, so was a little apprehensive but my fears were quelled on arrival by a pleasant, bright, reception area, and a competent, friendly young lady behind the desk. "I don't know what all the fuss was about!" I thought to myself. The corridor to the room was somewhat dingey and deserted. The room was disgusting. The orange floor was sickening, the blanket on the bed was last washed when Adam was a lad and there was a distinct, vomit-inducing smell of urine. It was revolting, and ruined our holiday with the daily dread of having to return there each night.
Unique Quality: There weren't any outstanding characteristics. Premiere Classe it ain't!
Directions: Nearest RER Parc des Expositions. Hotel is just a short walk from here.
