Madam offers a lesson to Luke, Amber, & Jennifer. by LBKesner Our double room was clean, had a private bathroom with a tub and shower, and featured a good air conditioner. Some of the students had trouble with their air conditioning, but they just opened the window and--voilà!--they were happy. In the "these things happen" category of experience, one of our student travelers remained stuck in an elevator for about an hour while workmen made repairs, and a French doctor made a house call at a very reasonable rate to see about the very red feet and legs of one of our adult travelers. The included breakfast was fine: pastries, orange juice, tea/coffee. The hotel is a distance away from tourist attractions and requires extra time on the train/Metro and then a very brief walk, but the prices posted online seem very reasonable and possible worth the short trips to and from Paris attractions.
For Coca-Cola addicts, a Light Coke is about $6 in the bar/restaurant, but there are vending machines with Cokes downstairs where they are more reasonably priced. Hotel staff at reception and in the restaurant/bar--friendly enough and very helpful!
