Has anyone has expereince staying at the Residence Unic Saint Germain 56 bis rue de montparnasse. Also, what is the area like? It seems very difficult finding a nice hotel (on theorder of a Hyatt, Marriott, etc) that accommodates three adults. Any suggestions would be appreicated

Montparnasse is a nice district, but there are lots of nicer hotels that accomodate triple occupancies. You just have to specify when you inquire. You can check for comments at Trip Advisor.
I'm a bit confused as you seem to want to reserve a room at one of the chain hotels and it's possible to do this in Paris. The only thing is it will cost alot.

Sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean to actual book at a Hyatt or Marriott. I mean the same "type"or scale of hotel. Hyatt and Marriott chain in the US tend to be very nice. I was trying to get a French hotel that would be similar

Sorry for the misunderstanding. European hotels tend to be individual, small. The only type of hotels I can think of that seem like what you want is Hotel Pont Royal or Hotel Montalembert for example. Both are located in the 6th district and are known for a high level of service.
