Most rooms are four or five stories up. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. In the standard rooms there is no tub, there are only shower stalls that barely fit one. The beds are comfy enough and the hotel sits on a pedestrian only street so it is very quiet. There are plenty of bars and cafes in this area and you are close to Les Halles mall and Metro station. The hotel is within walking distance of Notre Dame, La Chapelle, Cluny Museum, the Pompidou Center and the Louvre.
There is no air conditioning or TV. Breakfast is basic and is not worth the 10 Euros a day per person. You are better off eating at the bakery down the blcok for a fraction of the price.
The rooms are built right beneath some of the church's butresses. The decor is gothic Medieval style with elaborate carvings, antique armoirs (that are probably hundreds of years old), wrought iron lamps and old prints.
