Spring in Paris
by Bourgeois
What should I pack for Paris in late May is it cold?
Re: Spring in Paris
by TheWanderingCamel
To answer all your questions about what to pack - a lightweight jacket or sweater as a precaution is about all you'll need for those destinations in late May/June.

Hi there
I have been in Paris in late April and the weather was perfect...no need for anything warm on. I guess late May should not be to different.

Kool and pack light, less is more. Bring a jacket or sweater always

a vest that matches a sweater comes in very handy. sometimes a vest and sweater indoors is tomuch.but a vest and no sweater is just right. and if you get cold with only the vest you can put the sweater back on also.
also for outdoors a light wind breaker water resistant for days,. and at night medium weight coat water resistant. to wear over vest and sweater.
Travel Tips for Paris
'Musée Rodin'
The museum...

'Musée Rodin'
The museum dedicated to this famous sculpture is defenitely worth a visit and not only for those who like sculptures: the museum is surrounded by a beautiful garden. I love French, the sound of this language is so much nicer than mine... .
take out is usally cheaper, so have a picnic
by mi5chelle
French restaurants cost more if you want to sit down in the mileu....so why not order out and have a picnic in a wonderful green spot, garden or park? Most restaurants will deduct 10% from the bill for 'emporter' take out orders. I used this method of getting take out often and ate in the sunny parks.
Also, in those trendy spots, have the drink at the bar instead of the cute table and get the same experience but cheaper.
The 19th and 20th Arrondissements
by Lady_Mystique
There are several sites of interest to tourists among the working class neighborhoods in the 19th and 20th.
The Parc de la Villette in the 19th is a favourite of both adults and children, with diverse exhibits at rhe Cite des Sciences et de L'Industrie and the Cite de la Musique.
The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont has rolling hills, cliffs, a central lake, and a small classical temple.
The Pere-Lachaise Cemetary in the 20th is the most visited cemetary in Paris and permanent home to many historic figures; it provides an atmospheric stroll among romantic alleys, trees, mausoleums and sculptures.
Quartiers in the 19th and 20th include Rhin-et-Danube, Belleville (sometimes called the Brooklyn of Paris) with its Parc de Belleville, Bagnolet, Gambetta, Menilmonthant (the childhood home of Edith Piaf), and Charonne.
Ask its way
by delphetguy
If you were lost in Paris you surely noticed that even the Parisian ones cannot answer you if you ask for a street. Ask momument, museum, shop but no street, moreover some boulevard are very long! The better it's to find a subway station to ask a street. They have always map.
Stade de France
by Imbi
Any tourist will be stunned by the beauty of this 80,000 seat stadium, which is home not only to football matches.Symbol of the French victory in the 1998 World Cup, this stadium has become as famous as the other great Parisian monuments
