We booked a double room with bath for two nights. Upon arrival we were asked to settle the remainder of the bill - the first night had been taken out on the credit card upon booking - we did but soon regretted it.
We got room 606. Obviously a chambre de bonne, remodelled. Tiny and in pathetic shape: the closet door had been ripped out roughly, nails sticking out, the sink was broken and the bath did not have a stopper. Most of all there was no heat, the room was ice cold. Our protests were met with smiles and lies: "You can get another room tomorrow" , when that did not happen "the sink would be fixed that day", "the heating was broken but now fixed... the heat took time getting up to the sixth floor!!!" The room was acceptable for them.
We left the room two days later, exactly as it was when we came. There was never any intention of fixing anything nor putting any heat on. They took us for fools and clearly did not give a damn.
AVOID this hotel at all costs.
