Terrass Hotel - Magical Paris Atmosphere.....

I use this hotel for business frequently as it is a world away from the standard, faceless business hotels on the outskirts, and the price is reasonable.

You may get a refurbished modern room which although lovely, i always let my colleagues have, as the older ones are full of charm and old paris style with old windows/shutters looking out to the view, If you're lucky you will get the view over the Montmartre cemetery and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

If you're there in Spring/Summer they have a fab roof terrace for a cocktail and they have a light snack menu, and of course there is a restaurant and a bar

Lovely hotel with a bit of character - definately recommend for business, leisure or a romantic break! For Pricey Paris, this hotel represents good value and a bit of charm without breaking the bank

Its on Rue Joseph Maistre and every time I've been the facade of the hotel is draped in lights which, if you are approaching from Abesses or Blanche Metro Stations really adds to the atmosphere of this already stunning road.

A wonderful Parisian hotel

We recently returned from a wonderful weekend spent at this fabulous hotel.

The rooms were spotless, and tasteful, the staff friendly, polite and professional and the food was great.

I would definitely come back and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Montmarte's finest hotel

Simply...you MUST stay here. Pinch pennies, eat croisssants for dinner, but you have to stay in a room here with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It will change your LIFE!

OK, that is a bit dramatic, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The 250 E for a suite with a view was a deal! Although it did not include breakfast, we never woke up early enough to enjoy so c'est la vie. The bar is very old school, classic, with intriguing photos of the stature the hotel enjoyed earlier in the 1900's. The staff was friendly enough and actually nice when French was spoken. And the rooms...not the 4 seasons, but very nice for a top of the line boutique. And location couldnt be better...close to 3 different METRO stops, bakeries, bars, a wine shop.

We loved it!

We have just returned from a 3-night stay at the Terrass. Our family had 3 rooms - Junior Suite and two Doubles - and we were all very satisfied. It is a lovely hotel, perfectly situated for walking around Montmartre. Our room was well-equiped (cable tv, comfortable double bed, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, plenty of fresh towels every day, toiletries, hair dryer, tea/coffee-making facilities, iron & ironing board) The weather was freezing but the rooms were lovely and warm. Breakfast was buffet-style and very, very nice. Eggs were served either boiled, poached or fried and there was bacon and sausage too if you wanted it. Delicious bread and croissants, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and cereal too.
The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend it and would return for another stay.

Unique Quality: Great views of Paris from the rooftop terrace.
Coal fire in lounge area. Pianist plays in lounge every evening.

Nice Hotel in Monmartre

There didn't seem to be many "nicer" hotels in Monmartre. I thought this one was good, although, my room was small. I would recommend getting a room with two twin beds (even if you're taveling as a couple since they're together anyway) instead of a queen room.. the twin room was bigger - including the bathroom.

The staff was very nice and helpful.

Unique Quality: Nice lounge/ bar in the Lobby with cozy chairs and a roaring fire. Internet station in the lobby - you can purchase a card from the Front Desk/Concierge.

Close to the Sacre Coeur.

Fair location

Very small rooms. If you are having a problem with the person that you are sharing a room with, there is nowhere to hide. Cozy fireplace in the bar.

Now this is more like it......

It's not often that Sourbugger is impressed with a Hotel in Paris, but I must admit this place turned out to be an excellent choice.

A four-star hotel, and quite traditional in it's look and furnishings. The family room we had was large by the Standards of Paris: a good bath, nice furnishings, a superb bed and very child-friendly environment (no sharp edges etc). Excellent view out over the local cemetery (if you like that sort of thing) and the Eiffel tower in the distance.

The public areas are a little small and lack a bit of atmosphere, the attached restaurant good but pricey. Excellent breakfast.

Unique Quality: The terrace on the top floor (hence the name of the hotel) affords a great view out over Paris, and breakfast is served up here in the Summer. I would be willing to stay here again just for that experience.

Amazing Views

This hotel offers some rooms with panoramic views of all of Paris, especially the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are first class with a jacuzzi in the bathroom which also has the view. The rooftop restaurant also has these views. Rooms come with a very good breakfast included. The only drawback might be that you are kinda far from the Siene many of the top tourist sites. But Sacre Cour is nearby and so is a Metro stop. Here is a view from our room which I think was room 8.

Are rooms are comfortable......

There is a garden too!! to rest after a tiresome day strolling the boulevards.

Perfect in every aspect

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Terrass Hotel on 4 November. We booked the Moulin Rouge package and we were not disappointed. The staff were great and helpful and the seats we were allocated at the Moulin Rouge were at the very front - we could not have asked for more. Our bedroom was huge and we had a great bathroom. We would certainly recommend the Terrass Hotel to anyone considering it.
