A Suite Stay

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on January 13, 2011

We chose this hotel for three reasons: price, location and chain. We arrived at the hotel in the morning and we pleased to find our room was ready. My Diamond status with Hilton granted us an upgrade to a suite as well as the other perks such as lounge access. The Diamond Representative, Julien greeted us and showed us to our suite on the fifth floor; nice touch in my opinion.

The suite was amazing and for a European hotel it was down right huge. The suite had a large living room with couch, chairs, ottoman, table, desk, credenza and TV. There was a closet and a bathroom next to this area. The bedroom had a chair side table, desk, dresser, king bed and a large master bathroom. The master bathroom has a full tub, large shower, toilet and vanity. The room also had four robes as well as slippers.

This room was spacious yet cozy. We loved the comfortable bed and the chocolates on the pillow. We took advantage of the lounge access and enjoyed afternoon snacks, evening drinks and their breakfast buffet.

This hotel surprised me with its service excellence, comfort and reasonable price. I would definitely use this hotel again.

This hotel is a little out of the usual tourist area but has its advantages. It is near Parc Monceau and Rue Poncelet Market, and a 15 minute walk from its namesake.

Unique Quality: The design of the hotel is taken from Art Deco style cruise ships. There is an abundance of dark ebony wood trim, hallway doors have circular windows, etc.
There is an Executive Lounge which is open from 7 am to 11 pm and serves a nice breakfast and light refreshments all throughout the day.

Elegant Reprieve in Paris

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 5, 2010

One is surrounded by art and dazzling architecture in Paris and the Arc de Triomphe Hilton Hotel is no exception. I was so excited to snuggle up in the fluffy, plush, white robes and slippers and get pampered by the staff. Our stay was an absolutely delightful treat, made even more so after staying in several run down seaside hovels.

Unique Quality: About 10 mintues from all major attractions. Incredible views.

Newest Hilton in Paris

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on April 21, 2007

Had a short 2 night stay here end of March '06. Reserved 2 rooms using my HiltonHHonors account. Our room was on the executive level and came with free use of the executive lounge.

We took advantage of this lounge our 2nd night, which made for a late start the next morning (did I mention that booze was free in the lounge).

Beautiful new hotel, we had zero complaints.

Unique Quality: Being a gold level HHonors member, we got the free upgrade to the executive level, and were provided a box of chocolates (from a different vendor) each day.

Directions: The Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris is located a few minutes from the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, Parc Monceau, and our lunch reservation at L' Angle du Faubourg.
The nearest metro stations are Courcelles and Saint Philippe du Roule.
