Villa Royal Montsouris

A fantastic little hotel, moroccan themed, and this hotel was as Botique as you'll ever get. It was also quite cheap and away from the hustle and bustle with a parc close by and some great cafes and restraunts within walking distance it was ideal

Unique Quality: Fab restraunt and decor, each room is different so i doubt all have the view of a fire escape like ours!

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Royale Montsouris for 2 nights. Booked on Lastminute.com 3 months ahead the cost was around 105 Euro total for 2 of us inclusive of breakfast. It was our first stay in Paris and we needed a good base for our 3 day sightseeing trip. Having read some very mixed reviews prior to arriving, we were relieved to find that this hotel totally satisfied our requirements.
The description and pictures on websites that promote the hotel were very accurate. The whole hotel is designed around an 'Arabian Nights' theme and the attention to detail is apparent from the moment you step through the main entrance.

Unique Quality: In our opinion the hotel was small & friendly, very clean, very modern bathroom and furnishings, superb continental buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room and a totally relaxed feeling throughout. Although slightly further away from central Paris than we would have preferred, it is conveniently situated for Metro, buses and RER train to the airports (all within 5 to 10 minute walk).
We were looking for a hotel that was a bit 'special' - and I am happy to say we found just what we were looking for!
