Im travelling to Paris next month for 2 days for the main purpose of shopping. Ive been to Paris before but what would be the best shopping area? Is around the Arc De Triomphe a shopping area? and what would be good hotels (4/5 star) in those areas? Im only going to be there for 2 days so I don't really want to have to take the metro if possible!!
Thanks for your help!
Waldorf Arc de Triomphe 4* hotel is a small hotel(45 rooms) located near the Champs Elysées. It is also close to the 'Arc the Triomphe', and only 500 metres away from the 'Palais de Congrès de Paris' at the Place de Porte Maillot.
The Arc de Triomphe Sofitel Demeure is next door to the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, right where Paris works and plays, near the Parc Monceau, close to the exclusive boutiques of the Golden Triangle, the Faubourg St Honore, museums and legendary cabarets including Lido.

There are many shopping area in Paris. What do you want to buy ? Because there are a dress at 10 euros or at 1500 euros...!!
Metro is very a good solution. It's not dangerous et very easy. You can question me about your trip if you want.
Sorry for my bad english
If you're looking for moderately priced stores the 9th dist. has the large department stores (Galeries Lafayette, Au Printemps) and many other independent chains and shops as well. For designer shopping the 8th would be a good choice.
The Arc de Triomphe area isn't that good for shopping in my opinion-guess it depends on what you're looking for too-although there are some shops along the Champs Elysees.
I forgot this
If you like jewels, there are very good shops there.
