The hotel's front desk is very helpful and the manager speaks proficient English. My room, #502, was small but had a distant view of the Eiffel Tower and that's always a pleasant surprise for tourists. I should add that the 5th floor rooms are actually located on the 4th floor, a fact that the manager admits is somewhat illogical. The single elevator's capacity is small and can probably only hold a maximum of about 4 people at a time without luggage.
I would probably choose the Hotel Vivaldi over Princess Isabelle even though Princess is 10 Euros cheaper. The rooms are similar in quality but I simply prefer being closer to La Defense as it's where the bus station for coach travel to London is located plus Vivaldi also has a free morning shuttle service to the Metro. However if you want a decent room in Paris for 50 Euros or less then Princess Isabelle still is a good choice as there's nothing really wrong with the accomodations. I only had one night here but it was a nice stay.
The view of the Eiffel Tower is not magnificent, but it's there. (See the second photo of this tip.) The hotel lobby has an Internet computer with free access yet during my stay it was out of order. There is an Indian restaurant nearby as well as a small grocery store and deli.
