Locate the Fine Ancient Madonna and Child by hquittner
At the entrance to the chancel on the right is a 12C polychromed seated wood statue of the Madonna and Child. It is an excellent example of the technical level of artistry that had been reached by that time. It was brought here from the church of St.-Martin in the Fields (in the Temple Quarter) which had been converted to other functions after the Revolution.
