travel from Carcassonne to Argeles Sur Mer
We fly into Carcassonne on July 31st and need to get to Argeles Sur Mer and back again a week later. What are our choices?

I'm not sure what all your choices are but you certainly can take the train. It is a little more than 20 euros for your trip one way. Type in your dates and cities at http://www.voyages-sncf.com/
This will give you train options. The site is in French but pretty easy to figure out.
There may be bus connections too and there is always the possibility of a rental or hire car.

There are no buses between Carcassonne and Argeles sur Mer.
A taxi or private transfer would be very,very expensive owing to the distance - it's about 90 miles.
Unless you hire a car, the trains are your only choice but beware that they are fairly infrequent and irregular in nature.
July 31st is a Saturday, last train from Carcassonne to Argeles is at 1925 and involves an hour's wait in Perpignan on the way.
