Hotel des Trois Couronnes

This is a very nice 3 star hotel within a short 10-15 minute walk from the Medieval City. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each room has a mini-bar and color TV with both french and english channels.

Unique Quality: In season, there is a roof top pool. Great panoramic views can be had from there as well the hotels 4th floor restaurant. (See seperate tip).

we stayed for 2 nights , it was basic, clean and room was nothing to write home about... but the view!
we had a balcony overlooking the river and facing the cite.
this hotel is very central and easy to get to from the airport, the rstaurant is great for gazing at the ramparts and cite in general, also carcassonne town are doing a special until end of march , so go to caracssonne.org
