    Hôtel Casa Païral is a secluded hideaway in the centre of Collioure. The 150-year-old hotel is dark, tiled and atmospheric, with ancient trees shading the garden. Swimming pool. The rooms can be large and old-fashioned or airy and modern clad in tile and decorative wrought iron.

    • While I did NOT stay here, I did stop inside to see the beautiful lobby and courtyard - I was very impressed! This hotel has received good reviews in the guide books I've read - just be sure to book ahead, it is quite popular.

    Very romantic courtyard for guests, superb location in town but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle
