Transport from Montpellier/Roche train station to MPL airport
by beaninn
We'll be arriving by TGV on Easter Sunday about 6:00 p.m. We need to rendezvous with others at the airport for a ride to LaSalle.
There are 6 of us.
Suggestions for getting to the airport?
Merci!

My only question would be whether or not service is modified on Easter Sunday. Perhaps someone here can help with that. Here are two web sites that will give you bus/shuttle information, costs and schedules. The top one is "official."

Enjoy . . . gorgeous section of the country.

Thank you so much pedmar. I was counting on you to give the poster the Easter Sunday schedule. You seemed not to be on VT yesterday. So glad to have you back and "working" for us here. Merci . . . 8^)

Pezenas : homeland of Molière
by GUYON
Everywhere in Pezenas, you will find the memory of French comedies writter : Jean-Baptiste POQUELIN, known as MOLIERE.
He was not born here but he stayed some years there acting with his colleagues for the Prince de Conti.
The sign on the picture reminds his stay in the inn located in that building.
Monuments II - Aqueduct
by Kate-Me
The Saint-Clement Aqueduct dates from the 17th century, covering an 800m span across the "The Arches" district of the city; it was used to bring water from the St Clément spring 14 km away.
The aqueduct emptied into a water tank near the Arc de Triomphe (which is very close by), from where the water would run downhill to fill fountains and public water points.

Montpellier a beautiful city that is really worth visiting. In Montpellier you will find many old roman and gothic buildings, so if you love architecture and culture this is the place to be! This rich city also has nice terraces and shopping streets. All are near the main square 'Place de la comedie'. This square looks like someone just went cleaning and brushing here, it shines and you can see yourself in it, because this square is made of polished marmer! You can also see fountains, a palace and a beautiful statue on it.
