Montpellier Tip

I had a wonderful time studying at the Université de Paul Valéry in a program called CIF (Cours Intensif de Français) Actually it was a little bit of studying and alot of FUN FUN FUN!
Our dorms were a 10 minute bus ride from Centre Ville, so if you were out late partying in town and missed the last bus, you were screwed.
Roquefort
by JLBG
Only cheese that has been matured in a well defined area, about 1500m long and 400m wide can bear the name of Roquefort. The milk must come from a larger, but neighboring and equally well-defined area, from ewe of the local breed. You can visit the caves and see the cheese maturing.
There are several legends that explain why people had at one time the strange idea to inoculate the curd with moulds.
A View Toward the Cathedral St. Pierre
by hquittner
The Cathedral is the only church still standing after the Wars of Religion in Montpellier. It is not of great importance, but the turrets of the church are a pleasant sight. Next to it are the 13C ancient buildings of the first Faculty of Medicine in modern times.

"One of the happiest period in my life"
Released from work, commencing a new beginning and not started yet to worry about study and future job. Besides these, it's the wonderful place and people I knew there that made that one month one of the happiest period in my life.
Montpellier, lying in the beautiful coast of south France, possesses rich history that left fantastic old architectures and the sunny beach that arouses people's fantacy about romance.
You can either to linger around in the old part of the city exploring the old court yard or sticking to the beach enjoying sunshine, sea food or occasional night party and fireworks in the night sky over the beach.
"sunshine, sea and beach"
If you like sea, there are the most beautiful beaches. Petite travase, plavais, grand travase...
"Dance"
Around sunset, cafes start to set up outdoor seats at Place de Comedy. It's nice to take a beer there and watch travelling artists play music and dance there.

"Cimetiere Marin"
The Marine Cemetary is located rue François Desnoyer.
The photograph shows the grave of the Poet Paul Valéry (Famille Grassi).
On the stone these words :
"Ô récompense après une pensée
Qu'un long regard sur le calme des dieux."
Near by an other graveyard, in which there is the poet-singer Georges Brassens, born in Sète too.
