I will be traveling to Montpellier in may for 3 days. Would someone be so kind as to direct me to some interesting places to visit.
montpellier is a nice city by itself, you can also travel to sète,and nîmes, with its famous arenas
Thank you Fabrice, I am looking forward to this visit to France. Can you suggest some moderate priced hotels?
hotel ibis montpellier should be about 40 euros;you can find in may many hotels for 30 euros
While you are there, take a trip up to St Guilhelm le Desert , a splendid medieval village a half hour by car - explore the gorges nearby - and if you have time continue up to the Cevennes - there are many lovely medieval church towns on the way, it was and still is an important pilgrimmage route - and Templar domain - The Larzac, the plateau above that area, accessible by a good road, you can arrive in 45 minutes from Montpellier - is fascinating, Templar villages, wild landscapes - so much to see, and worth a day trip or two - and give it all my love! I miss it! Jean
