Central to all sites and Bus transfer.
Ideal 3* hotel, well placed. Easy to find due to the city having street signs with all the hotels name on! The bus transfer is close to the hotel, which is in the heart shaped area of all the sites and narrow lanes that make up Nimes. The hotel is close, to a Spar shop, a Mcdonalds, Kebab house and an indoor market and shopping centre. the hotel itself is very romantic with the courtyard area. Smart reception staff, English speaking. Also, shoe shine facilities and all daily world news, is printed out for you via a computer link, great touch. I paid 70 euros, book ahead saved 40 euors on the turn up and stay rate. We loved it being so central to all the sites.
Unique Quality: Location, price, staff, atmosphere, great bathrooms with glass surface and wooden bowls.

Great hotel in central location
We liked our time in this hotel, the room was comfortable, the hotel felt secure, and the hotel was within walking distance of the sights and the local restaurants.

For a moment you will be king,or queen, of castle
To say that the advertising for this place contains some prosaic or purpely praise is something of an understatement.
You may well feel like a King or Queen, but only one that enjoys rooms furnished with very cheap MFI furniture and stained carpets.
I never aspire that high anyway - one a knight is enough for any man.
Unique Quality: The Central courtyard of the converted 17th century townhouse is indeed very impressive and atmospheric. It reminded us of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet.
It probably makes staying here worthwhile by itself - but only in the summer.
Unfortunately the layout of the place means that the corridors and public areas can be somewhat chilly in winter.
