Great beach front location, value & friendly
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights mid August. Warm welcome on arrival. Reception desk closes at 9pm but if you arrive late arrangements can be made. Once there you are provided with a PIN number to access entry. We had a sea facing room - recommended - €101 pr night with breakfast being €7 pppn. Breakfast can be taken in the small breakfast room or can be sent to your room to take on the balcony. This is the only meal provided & consists of French bread/ croissant/ jam, juice, cereal, toast - tea, chocolate or coffee. The rooms are fresh, comfortable & appear to be recently decorated. Bathroom fully tiled with fresh towels every day. A wall moounted flat screen TV is provided.
Unique Quality: Good views out fom the balcony taking breakfast or lazing in the evening. The down side to the location is difficulty in parking but that's Palavas in August. Also note there is no lift in the property.
Palavas is a great place or a break. As well as the beaches there is the canal through the town. You can hire boats, canoes with shops / restaurants along the canal sides. If you can't be bothered walking all the way round, over the bridge then use the chairlift towards the canal mouth for €1.20 single trip. Cool!
