One of my fondest memories of the south of France is visiting Collioure and the seaside towns during the day, watching the sun go down and then spending all night drinking wine by the pool. Sheer heaven!

I will arrive at Barcelona early July but all car rental companies I contacted don't allow cross border travel though the car will be dropped back at Barcelona.
Anyone knows of a car rental company which allows cross border trips?
I want to spend 2-3 days at Perpignan and then back to Barcelona
Unfortunately, you have not listed your country of origin which is important in recommending a broker (the best method of renting a car.) Usually it's more of a problem taking a car from France into Spain because Spain requires there be safety equipment in the car that France does not (i.e. reflectors, vests, etc.)
Europcar, Sixt, Hertz, and Avis should all have rentals allowing travel into France. There may be limitations on travel into other countries however, such as Italy.

Just to point out that many visitors to Languedoc (France) fly into Girona (Spain) and rent a car there because it is cheaper than flying into France.
You should check again with, say, Hertz.

Nova car Hire are excellent.
There are no hidden costs and the amount charged is usually what is quoted on the internet , which is unusual!

The outer view of the Eastern side of the Palace has a two level chapel. On the South side of the palace is the giant throne room with one side completely occupied by a rank of fireplaces. The entry to the chapel is occupied by small columns and carved capitals covered with fanciful fantastic animals. The apse wall of the chapel is covered by a large stained glass window. Around on the inner walls of the inner courtyard are some fine glass windows adding decoration of the stone work.
I have lived in and around Perpignan for over a year. It's a very windy place, but usually warm. I'm not keen on Perpignan itself but I love Canet Plage, where I have lived since September 2001. I will be leaving Canet in September 2002 to go further afield, but if anyone wants any info on this area please mail me and I will be happy to help if I can. I also lived for a short time in Port Barcares, just up the coast.
