Uzes rental - Languedoc

Hello,
I will be in Languedoc this winter with my husband and 16 year old triplets. We are looking for a rental in a market town, to use as a base from which to see the area. I am interested in finding a 3 bedroom property to rent for a month or so, beginning mid February. I would like to stay in Uzes, but if anyone has any suggestions as to other towns in the area, or properties to rent, I'd love to hear about them.

hi,
well i would definately advice you to stay in Montpellier, Uzes is a cool place but Montpellier has much more to offer. Here is a cool link : http://www.ot-montpellier.fr (there is an english version)
For me Montpellier is one of the nicest city in France (i don't say that because i live there but i visited almost all the biggest city in france and montpellier is my favourite). There are lots of interesting places (place de la comedie, jardins du perrou, antigone, jardins des plantes...lots of gardens, historical buildings...) Moreover Montpellier is well situated, beaches very closed, cities like Nimes, perpignan, uzes and great nature not far by car!!!
However if you visit in december don't forget to take warm clothes because the wind is pretty cold but it is vey sunny!
