Les Terrasses: Camping at Lac de Vassiviere

Lovely campsite next to the lake built on four terrasses to give everyone a good view (ask at reception which placements have the best view and away from the road).
Within walking distance of a supermarket.

Fabulous view.

Chambres d'hôtes Rouffiat: A paradise spot in central France

Great spot for walking in the woods.
The main building is partly renovated in the authentic Limousin style and offers much comfort.
Basicly this is an offroad spot wich offers you B&B, with the possibillity of meals. This is highly recommended because the owner (Eddy) is a great cook in all styles (including veg.)
There are several romantic rooms in the main bulding, and a more adventurous wooden caravan on a little hill on the grounds with a spectacular view.

Great cooking.
Peace and quiet.
Wonderfull scenery.
Good value for money.
Languages: English; French; German; Dutch.
Friendly management.
Sauna (in wintertime)
Close to museum of President Chirac.

There is a separate gite in a former bakery house, suited for 3-6 persons, with all comfort.(kitchen, bathroom, tv, etc)
