Try the foie gras, the goose liver is yellow and smoother, the duck liver is pinkish and stronger tasting... my choice goes with the duck.
If possible, visit a farm where they force-feed geese and ducks, you will see that they are asking for it, and we agree about the result.

Limoges is situated south of Paris, less than 400 kms, in Haute-Vienne department. Limoges is mostly famous for its porcelain (actually, I have to admit that it was the only thing I could think of when people mention this city).
I've spent little time in Limoges, for it was a stop of my journey from Paris to the south of France. So I didn't have the opportunity to visit Limoges in more depth. However, I caught a small glimpse of it...
