Le Grand Céminaire: On hostel at the seminary

The people that know me, know that I prefer to do more with less money. And therefore this time again, I had looked for an economical solution for my 8 companions and myself: we have each a room (individual, where by couple) for 15 € by night ich one.

Les gens qui me connaissent savent que je préfère faire plus avec moins d'argent. Et donc cette fois encore, j'avais cherché une solution économique pour mes 8 compagnons et moi-même: nous avons chacun une chambre (individuelle où par couple) pour 15 € par nuit.

Unique Quality: For that price, the sheet were furnished. The rooms very clean and the welcome and the service room as effective as discreet . Only point not at all to to lose view: the house does not furnish any meal. It is necessary therefore to unravel itself for the meals. The bakers are at two steps for the breakfast and for the meal in the evening Limoges offers all a range of interesting restaurants.

Pour ce prix là, les draps étaient fournis. Les locaux très propres et l'accueil aussi efficace que discret. Seul point à ne pas perdre de vue: la maison ne fournit aucun repas. Il faut donc se débrouiller pour les repas. Les boulangers sont à deux pas pour le petit déjeuner et pour le repas du soir Limoges offre toute une gamme de restaurants intéressants.

Chateau de Villars: Chateau de Villars
A fantastic place to stay. The Chateau runs speciality weeks which are listed on their website. We stayed for their full board 'gluten free' week, where all the food was gluten free - which makes all the difference as a coeliac. Our room was very light and airy, with scenic views of the grounds.
The service was amazing. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful.
Unique Quality: The chateau had plenty of grounds to walk around and an outdoor pool. There was also a sitting room, library, honour bar and outdoor terrace.
Various massages and other beauty treatments were available, and transport was provided for us to get to nearby villages. Bikes were also available to cycle around the local area.
At mealtimes we all ate around one large table. This was good for getting to know the other guests and also to share recommendations of where to visit.

NEVER go at the hotel in...
NEVER go at the hotel in Perigord!!!
There is loads of bed and breakfast, farm gites, all around in all the countryside. Stop by the Syndicat d'Initiative of the closest city and get out to a nice B&B in the country.
