Cecil Hotel: The hotel to be in Metz
well here is a hotel that will bring you closer to the real beat of Metz, right on rue pasteur and walking distance to the city center, plus private car parking for me and you.
Classic 2 stars hotel looking like 3. nice ample contemporary look rooms, clean spacious and friendly service , almost like been at home. Great for the family as they have family rooms!
This one is recommended by the family, after I spent time on a business trip, came back and we all love it.
for us was thee family room and the parking close to the road and city center. just like been at home ambiance.

PREMIERE CLASSE HOTEL METZ NORD: Cheap and comfortable
When in France in 1995 I spent 8 nights in Premier Class hotels (two of them in Metz). In my opinion it's the cheapest accomodation in France (like Formula 1 and ETAP). It's comfortable enough for a short stay (one or two nights). It cost me 149 francs ($30) for a single room (and for double and even triple - the same price).

Hotel Royal Bleu Marine: Living it up a little
This smart hotel caters mainly to commercial trade, but despite that treated this lone traveller with great friendliness and helpfulness
The room was all one could have wished for, and the breakfast, which surprisingly was included in the price, was excellent. Two euros for the Twix bar in the room mini-bar was rather steep though - my fault!
