A GOOD PLACE TO SLEEP.....

A fine hotel, ideally situated and as always it is wise to have a look at the room before deciding.................otherwise the location of the room COULD be a surprise: lots of hotels in old French cities were built around a small patio, which is something like a chimney.......
I don't care, I prefer this to a noisy street with bars and traffic, but perhaps you wouldn't love it.........

Cafés on Place Stanislas

There are quite a few cafés and restaurants on Place Stanislas and my advice is:

do sit down on that square just to do some people watching and enjoying this great atmosphere!

There is for one the Grand Café Foy at 1, Place Stanislas, the Hotel Restaurant Le Stanislas Grand Hotel de la Reine at 2, Place Stanislas, the No. 5 (the place that was our favourite!) at 5, Place Stanislas, the Brasserie Jean Lamour at 7, Place Stanislas, the Restaurant Les Cesars at 8, Place Stanislas .....

So you see, you do have choices!!!
