Aime 2000: Monstrous apartment building

A typical French skiing resort apartment building, shaped like a sunken battleship, I guess.. The philosophy the designers used will have been among the lines of cramming as many people in as small as space and possible, and leave some space for a parking lot in front and trying to make it look like well, umm, a battleship is the best description I can give of the truly awful building.

Don't expect any charm here, just an awesome location on 2100m and right next to the slopes and lifts.

Unique Quality: It's very well connected, both for skiers and pedestrians. There's a direct (free) lift in the building, connecting it to Plagne Centre. From Plagne Centre, buses depart to the other villages. The lift runs till 1am, so plenty of time to head out to the other villages for dinner. Dinner in Aime is nothing special, I suggest heading out to Belle Plagne.

For skiing, the building is literally on the slopes and connected to the lift system (which is excellent).

There's also a large number of sportshops, restaurants and a supermarket in the building, which is a big plus.

All in all, a good location, small but sufficient apartments. Certainly do not stay here for the charm of the place.
