Cheap and Cheerful.......
This little hotel will stay in my memory for a long time as it was the hotel I stayed in on my first trip to Lourdes. The desk clerk could not have been more helpful and she even carried my bags all the way to my room. The room was small but spotlessly clean and very well appointed. I loved the shuttered windows and stood looking out of them at the building across the road for quite some time, just because I had never slept in a room with shuttered windows before. (I'm a hopeless romantic!)
Unique Quality: The Aneto has a lovely little bar area where I was able to get an espresso at any time of the day. If the bar was unattended, the desk clerk once again, did the honours. I would happily stay at the Aneto again and would certianly recommend it to anyone doing Lourdes on a budget. Bookings through expedia.com or Otel.com.
