Sanctuaires Notre Dame De Lourdes
We were told that there is this Asian family that runs a Bed and Breakfast at their home in Lourdes. Does anyone know their website or contact number.
We are going on a three day pilgrimage this December and we would love to make room reservations at their home . Thank you and God Bless.

Yes,thank you for this website, however, yes, we are quite aware of this website as that happened to be the first search we did looking for this Asian Family. We think that they are not registered and that must be the reason why they charge so much lower with good breakfast, although we heard from people that they are so caring, so loving and almost treat you like part of their family. But Beausoleil, thanks again for your help.
Hopefully someone else in the VT Forum will be able to give the information. We found that everyone we met in Lourdes was exceptionally kind and helpful so I don't think it will matter much where you stay. It is an amazing place.
I know there are tacky souvenirs all over the place, but you can look right past them to the real inspiration that exists on every corner. Just watching the long lines of wheelchairs pushed by volunteers is otherwordly. When you discover all of this is free and not a moneymaking thing, you begin to realize how special Lourdes really is.
The setting itself is exceptionally beautiful with the river Pau running right through the shrine.

Many thanks for your kind response. Unfortunately, we have not received any response about that Asian family that runs a B&B in Lourdes; however, we rung the hospital at Lourdes and we are now doing volunteer work for the handicaped visitors and in return they - the hospital- provides volunteers room accommodation within the hospital zone. So, all is now turning into our favour. We were also assigned to lead the 9 O´clock rosary prayers on the 28th Dec. in our native language (one decade of rosary) which has added our pilgrimage. Again, thank you for your very kind thoughtfullness.
We are offering our pilgrimage for more peace and love all over the world. Happy Holidays to each and everyone!

The reason that most people visit Lourdes is because of the apparitions of Our Lady to a young girl now known as Saint Bernadette (in 1858). Around the town are several places associated with Bernadette and her family. Maison paternelle was the home in which the family lived after the apparitions, at which time Bernadette was living in the local convent.
