Le Cachot
Almost everywhere you go in Lourdes there are places associated with Bernadette and her family. The Cachot was were they lived in 1858, at the time of the apparitions. It was a disused prision, and the whole family lived in one small room.

Hi, I've been trying to find out how to get to Barcelona from Lourdes. I checked the SNCF train site and they can not provide me with the route and price. I am worried as my schedule is really tight. I'll leave Lourdes on December 12th and have to be in Barcelona that same day or early on the 13th as I'll have to fly back to Canada. I'm also worried about space as Dec 12th is a Sunday. That's why I need to book something early to get to Barcelona, train or bus.
Any suggestions or advice? Thank you so much for your help.

Try www.bahn.de - it is the German rail site but gives info on trains all over Europe. Click on the Int Guests bar at the top for the site in English. Doesn't give the prices on non-domestic routes
Hi,
I got the answer for time tables on www.sncf.com
LOURDES 14h10 to TOULOUSE MATABIAU 15h55
TOULOUSE MATABIAU 16h09 to NARBONNE 17h21 -
NARBONNE 18h18 to BARCELONA SANTS 21h48
From Lourdes to Toulouse, the price is 34.70 Euros (and booking on line is possible)
But - like you - i wasn't able to get the price for Narbonne - Barcelona (or the total for Lourdes-Barcelona) (only the time table)
(maybe you should call sncf in Narbonne, phone # 08 92 35 35 35)
Hi, thanks a lot! So, SNCF does have train arriving in Barcelona? I was not sure since they never show the price. I'll keep looking. What about bus? And, can you buy SNCF tickets from Spain's stations or travel agents? Thanks again!
Hi, thanks! I'll definitely check it out.
Hi
Check out www.raileurope.com and click on "Fares and Schedules" From Narbonne to Barcelona Sants it is $62 for full fare in first class, and $45 for full fare second class. Since this is for purchase on a website, the price may be higher than if you purchase the tickets in Europe, so you may want to purchase it when you are there.
If you are a pass holder then it is $11 for first or second class.
