Montpellier le Vieux
by GUYON
Montpellier le Vieux is a natural park with a lot of rocks. It looks like ruins of an antique city.
No link with the city of Montpellier. Open from March to November (9AM to 6PM or 7PM on July & August)
The park has a little train (3 euros)
Flowers corner
by JLBG
At one end of the square, flowers are presented. We visited Millau in Spring and the plane trees had not yet many leaves, which does not matter much as the sun does not yet burn too badly. In Summer, fortunately, the market place will get shade from the trees and the flowers will keep well.
A hole in the mountain
by JLBG
If you enlarge the picture, you will see a hole in a rock on top of the cliff. It has been bored by the combined action of water and of physical erosion (icing of the wet limestone especially). After several millions of year, it should give another archway. Don't forget to come back to check !

"My Transit"
When I pass by this impressive bridge on my way to Toulouse, really awesome work and amazed me, and this remind me of "Mr. Bean On Vacation" Movie...:)
From far away I can see the very beautiful work that allows a beautiful view. So I stop on the Panoramic point and admiring surrounding all the view that I can see, the charms of the hitherto unspoiled countryside around the town of Millau. Also there are many points of view can be seen from every angle

"Sainte Enimie"
Enimie was the king's daughter. She was very nice and had many suitors.
In order to discourage them, she praid to become hugly and God sent her a nasty leprosy.
Some time after, she did not succeed to bear the pain of the sickness and asked God to be cured.
God sent her a message : "go to the Causse in a special place in which there is a fountain and you will be cured".
She came and was cured but each time she wanted to go back home, the sickness came back.
So she decided to stay in the Causse and established the Village of Ste Enimie, in which she lived as an hermit.
Se non e vero, e ben trovato.
