Holiday Inn Toulouse Centre: Same Hotel Many Names    Check Rates

    • I have written about our enjoyable stay at this hotel and posted pictures too. but it is under the name of Grand Hotel Capoul which was its previous name. It is also listed in VT as Holiday Inn Toulouse Center but it is the same hotel, VT is not too careful about updating hotels. I guess they leave it to the hotel management who probably never heard of VT

    Right off the Place Wilson with lots of a fresco eating.

    This hotel is now a member of the Holiday Inn Group (Toulouse or City Center) but still likes the old name (which it had when we were there 15 years ago). It has always had comfortable rooms that are well equipped as befits its 3* rating. It has an ample and interesting lobby (as we illustrate) which opens via a modest entry from the Place Wilson which makes it very centrally located for sightseeing ( and is now undergoing the removal of its vehicular traffic). The staff is helpful and attentive. Its own cafe opens into the lobby but all along the place are restaurants with outdoor terraces for evening dining and a restful nocturnal view of the fountains in the Place. (We ate each of 4 nights at the Bistro Romain next door--see our Intro and Restaurant Tip).
