ANY ADVICE welcome please....how to find room rental or house-share in Toulouse...

by lizzy54321

as per message below - I'm looking to rent a room in Toulouse for a few months from this Septmember and not really sure where to begin...

Does anyone know the procedure? Or where i could start looking for somewhere relatively cheap and safe etc?

i have heard that it can sometimes be difficult for Britsh students coming over who want to rent because i'd need a reference from a local resident? is this correct?

Is just downstairs, from where I took this picture
where Henri de Motmorency lose his head. This was one more between many bloody historys, but perhaps more
romantic. When Richelieu showed the head to the crowd
in the Capitolium square the people asked for revenge.
All this was in the XVII century.

Musée Paul Dupuis

by Klod5

The museum that carries the name of a toulousian's general of Empire, is situated in the old particular hotel district. It includes remarkable collections : clockmaking, dish and wares, arms, drawings and engravings, and the pharmacy of the convent of the Carmelites. Among others treasures, you will see the uniform and the personal objects of the general Paul Dupuis.

Squarre Charles de Gaulle

by Klod5

The Charles de Gaulle square is the places where you go at one way per week (or per day for some) in Toulouse. Situated to the exit of the subway Capitol station, it is to the foot of the Town hall, to the heart of the city. In the dungeon is the tourist office. There are a lot of tourists therefore in this square, and a lot of bad boys also. In my youth, one nicknamed this garden " the Park to oyster ", because it is also frequented by numerous aged people...
