LE RELAIS: ARDRES RELAIS
I have stayed at this hotel many many times over the past 15 years, unfortunately it is now begining to show its age.My last visit was on the 8th October 2006 for one night and decided to use the restaurant with my wife and two other friends. I am afraid to say that it turned out to be a disaster. The establishment was cold with no heating anywhere in the building the restaurant was the same. I ordered soup which arrived luke warm, the food was cold and when I complained the owner went into the kitchen and returned with no comment at all to me. My wifes lamb was as raw as it comes, my friend who is allergic to garlic asked if his lamb would have garlic in and was told it did not unfortunately the ratatoiulle, and potatoes where swimming in it. The only good thing about the meal was the Red House Wine at 11 Euros a bottle but I am afraid that is the best they can do. Desserts do not bother. Will look for somewhere else in future. Points out of ten =2
