Robespierre´s House by Mique
Robespierre was one of the revolutionairies of the French Revolution. A name well known since he took the hard line in the french revolution. Starting as an accuser he ended up as one of the rulers of France. But he eventually ended up on the same guillotine where he did send so many other people too..
He was born in Arras in 1759 and started a carreer in law. He lived in the house (now a museum) from 1787 till 1789 when he left Arras for Paris..
The entrance is free (always nice ;-) .
Opening times are tuesday and thurday from 14.00 till 17.30. On saturday and sunday it is open from 15.30 till 18.30
