Well, Ibis is Ibis. Whether in France, Italy, Spain, ... you allways get more or less the same quality and type of rooms.
This one was no exception: clean rooms, close to the major sights, polite staff, ...
There are several Ibis hotels in Lille, the one I was staying in was called Ibis Hotel de Ville, about 10 min from the Lille Flandres train station and 5 min from the Porte de Paris.
