Travel around - why not Belgium?
by Oana_bic
Nord Pas de Calais & Lille do not have to claim to be the crossroads of Europe !
I personally met quite a few persons working in Lille and live in Belgium, or vice-versa.
Why not take a nice drive to Bruges, the "Venice of the North" for dinner one evening, or go have a great time in Antwerp or Gent..

Who doesn't love ice cream!!
After a delicious meal what better way to end the evening, but with a couple of scoops of creamy Haagen-Daz!!
We stopped off at the Haagen-Daz cafe for a coffee and some ice cream. Favourite flavours include: Pralines & Cream, Macadamia Brittle, Dolce con Leche

This has got to be one of the loveliest buildings in Lille retaining the spendour of Flemish 17th century elegance.
When we visited there were many book stalls in the central courtyard and it was a very peaceful place to be. The building was so colourful too.
