"My first Eurostar experience"
Well like many children in the UK the first school trip abroad was to France and for me it was no different. We travelled by the Eurostar to Calais then headed on into St Omer, which as i remember was a small-ish town. It was quite exciting as you can picture in a foreign country without our parents! I'm sure the french loved it....not. We visited a beautiful church then they let us go off on our own, we went around the town and drunk strawberry diabolo! Then on the way back to the Eurostar had a look around the shopping centre in Calais.
We also visited a local beach near to St Omer but it was way too cold to go swimming.
