Chateau du Plessis Angers

When we visited Angers, we decided to stay outside of the city, so as to have access to the rest of Anjou (Pays de la Loire). The Chateau was highly recommended to us. It is 30 km north of Angers and within easy drive of many other places (as we detail under Pays de la Loire). This chateau (cum B&B) is a 3-4* accomodation with table d'hote dinners on prior request. It may be less expensive than you expect (it is not in Paris) and is worth the price, because you never expected to do this! Don't miss the opportunity.
