Holiday Inn Express Angers

I stayed in this hotel for a night on arrival in Angers, and a few of my friends stayed there while visiting me. However, while I originally found and booked it on the internet, friends who came later in the year found that websites claimed the hotel did not exist! Thereafter it was impossible to make a reservation with the hotel online, so I had to do it in person. I haven't tried to book the hotel since my return home, so I'm not sure if it has closed or if the websites just made a mistake.
Nevertheless, I would recommend this hotel as one of the cheaper ones in Angers, if you can manage to book it at all!The staff speak reasonably good English and the rooms are basic but comfortable.

Directions: The hotel is very close to the train station, and right in the centre of town.
