How to transfer from Gare SNCF Nord to the airport?

Dear sir,
I am student of ESSCA, Angers.
A ticket from NANTES AIRPORT to Geneva has been booked.
The flight will depart at 09h15 Satuday 27 November 2010.

The question is: if I take the TGV from Angers to the GARE of NANTES(the arrive time maybe 07h46 Saturday 27 November 2010), which bus or any other transportation should I take to catch the flight?

There is a bus that leaves every 30 minutes that will take you from the train station to the airport in 20 minutes. Check the web site above for times and weekend schedules. I believe the cost is 7 euros although it may depend on your age and student status that might make you eligible for a discount.

I would be uncomfortable with your timing. If the train is delayed at all for any reason, you may not make your flight. Have you considered an earlier train or even going the day before and staying out near the airport?

Easyjet allows check-in on line, if I were you I'd do it.

from easyjet's site:
if you had no luggage proceed to your departure gate.
otherwise you've to drop it off at the designated desk before going to security
•Check-in desks close exactly 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. of the flight
• The boarding gate closes 25 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.
Passengers who present themselves at the gate later than 25 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure will not be accepted for travel and will forfeit their seats

L'Ile de Nantes: travelling to the future

L'Ile de Nantes is definitely an off the beaten place to go. It is a small island south of Nantes. Well, dont think tropical island or anything like this. Right now, it is an industrial island. It used to be a main industrial center for the city and hosted Nantes' harbour.

Since a few years, the city decided to rehabilitae this place and make it a new center for the city. Thus the new court of justice has been implemented there (and was designed by famous architect Jean Nouvel). The architecture school is to be built there too. And there are many other projects to be done there.

Interesting thing to see right now is the evolution of this place. Currently it is a kind of no man's land, with buildings in construction, old industrial places and weird modern buildings. For those who know Rotterdam, it reminds of Kop van Zuid.

Going there give you a good feeling of what is Nantes' potential. And if you come back to Nantes in a few years, you will not recognize the place...

Just a few kilometers from St Jean de Monts sur Mer is ST JEAN DE MONTS. This town is smaller and isn't at the beach. But it does have a nice market that is open in the morning.
