Chateau de Jallanges: Chateau living

If I had to list my 10 most unique accommodations, Chateau living would definitely make the list. On our visit to the Loire Valley my travel partner Janet and I lived like Kings at Chateau de Jallanges. We had the Apartment, a lovely suite of rooms with a sitting room, a double bedroom and a huge bathroom with shower and tub. Our rooms looked out on the park, complete with horse, as well as the English Garden. Talk about lifestyles of the rich and famous; lounging in the tub, sipping Vin de Vouvray after a long day of wine tasting at the wine caves.

Unique Quality: The Chateau also has a pool. A bountiful breakfast, served in the dining room, gives you a daily opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests at the Chateau. There are so many chateaux to visit in the area as well as wineries to explore and taste and from which you may purchase wines.
