Spooky Candle Holders

I loved these arms which appeared to be coming through the wall in the The Galerie des Cerfs ( Deer Gallery). They were a mix of being comical & spooky! There are large hunting tapestry's in this great hall.

A bit of usless information is the Disney film the Three Musketeers with Micky, Donald, Goofy & co is based in Chantilly Chateau, it is recognisable from the outside & there is a scene with these very arms coming out of the wall. (Well.................... I did tell you it was usless information!) (~_~)

Champ de Course

The racecourse at Chantilly is one of the most famous in France. It must certainly have the most beautiful surroundings! The racecourse was created in 1834.

The beautiful palace of Chantilly is a few miles north of Paris, it is an ideal daytrip if you are staying in the Paris area.

Chantilly is also known for its world famous stables and race course. The palace was severely looted during the French Revolution, but has since been refurbish and renovated where needed.
