Le Macassar: Luxury accommodation near Villers-Bretonneaux
For those of you that have searched, finding a nice place to stay in or near Villers-Bretonneaux starts seeming virually impossible but.......it exists. You may or may not have seen an article a year or so ago in the Sydney Sun Herald but it highlighted a place called Le Macassar. Its small, only around 5 or so rooms, but wow what rooms. Its a fantastic, luxurious small hotel in an amazing art deco mansion in Corbie - about 5 mins from the main Australian Memorial ( which is actually between VB and Corbie ) with amazingly friendly and generous hosts. Cant speak highly enough of this place .... check it out and book early!
Stunning rooms and public spaces, sunny garden to enjoy a glass of complimentary wine with fantastic hosts....and above all, great relaxing fun in a great location for exploring all the WW1 sites
