Good deal and great location
While there are several hotels outside of the city center, such as near Futurscope, those do not have much to offer as far as ambiance or proximity to the historic center. Ibis Center has both. It is right in the heart of the city and offers the historic center within a few minutes walk. Even the hotels near the train station are too far removed from the center.
The rooms were of typical European size, meaning small yet comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. The walls were a bit thin, but thankfully most people visiting were on business and respectful of the other guests.
Unique Quality: The hotel offered breakfast for an additional charge, but is an all-you-can eat continental breakfast with juice, coffee, breads, fruit, yogurt, etc.
Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. Parking is available for a charge.
