The Chateau Grimaldi was built in the 12th century and it was a residence of Monaco's ruling family. In 1946 Picasso used part of the castle as a studio. Five months of intense work produced 26 paintings and 43 drawings. The first Picasso museum in the world was born. P.S. Closed on Mondays and public holidays
