Hi Carol. You might try http://www.holiday-rentals.com/World/r1.htm

They handle rentals in many countries and we've used them often. It's always been a good experience. They cover all price ranges so you should find something. You may have to go a bit higher in price but you are in a slower season.

Good luck.

Travel Tips for Antibes

Marineland

by Lilasel

Marineland is one of the famous Amusement parks in France. It includes 5 different parks: Marineland - Sea Park; Aqua-Splash (water amusement park); La Petite Ferme (Small farm); Adventure Golf; La Jungle des Papillons (The jungle of Butterflies).

Cozy café

by Elainehead about Fleur de Café

It's a small charming café that also serves lunch. I've only come here to have some tea/coffee or hot chocolate (cold weather). Tea is around 4 €. Café gourmand (expresso with a mini-dessert) is 3€50.

Fort Carré -- Square Fort

by chbuchie

One of the big forts built by the well known French architect Vauban

only guided visits are possible and last about 45 minutes

as a bonus you'll enjoy a great view on Antibes, the mountains in the back and the International Yacht Club

the football field in front of this fort hosted a world cup game in 1938 (yes 50years before 'les Bleus' won their first holy grail) , Sweden beat Cuba if you really want to know

Antibes Walking Tour Part II

by Tolik

The Château Grimaldi watchtower probably did not change a lot from the medieval times (the castle was built in the 12th century). Inside the Château you will find the world famous Picasso Museum (open 10am – 12pm, 2pm – 6pm; €4.60, prepare to stay in queue for 30 min – 1 hour depending on the weather). Pablo Picasso lived a while on the Cote d'Azur, you understand why. The castle itself belonged to the Grimaldi family until the 18th century. Even if you don’t like the Picasso’s style, the view of the coast from the tower is worth the admission.

The Amiral de Grasse boulevard offers you splendid views along the coastline stretching to the East, with in the view Nice airport and the town itself. You will have a very nice view on the Old Antibes and the ramparts, where the deep blue of Mediterranean Sea offers a striking contrast with the snow of Southern Alps in the background. Admiring that view, Guy de Maupassant, a famous French writer found that is was the most beautiful landscape he ever saw.

Light house, Cap d'Antibes

by Stellla

"Le Cap d'Antibes" is idealy situated between "La baie des Anges" and Canne's bay. Moreover it is an hill where set on the top probably one of the best view point in the area. To be even higher you can walk up the lighthouse (smoker avoid smoking an hour before!), and a 360° view on the french riviera to please your tired eyes. I put the picture from there on my album.
